Broadcast Traffic Management
StoneTimberRiver’s clients are more commonly retaining their rights to television and radio media assets. Although our clients are not media outlets in their own right, they are frequently faced with the burdensome task of creating broadcast logs and affidavits for the media assets included in their corporate partnership agreements. As an alternative to six-figure traffic management solutions designed for television and radio stations, StoneTimberRiver created our MediaLine product to address the unique broadcast traffic needs of our professional sports team clients. These clients are typically creating logs and affidavits for the TV and radio game broadcast, the coaches show, the Spanish-language broadcast, and perhaps other ancillary programming. MediaLine utilizes a drag-and-drop color-coded interface that syncs to our Corporate Partnership Modules in CRM on demand. Broadcast logs and affidavits can be created for programming in a matter of minutes.

Utilizing the 10 years of experience we have gained working with our teams on broadcast traffic management, STR’s MediaLine is a significant improvement over our legacy offerings. MediaLine has a unique user interface that makes broad use of colors and drag-and-drop functionality to speed the data entry process and facilitate log separation. Broader reporting options and streamlined processes lead to far greater value for our broadcast user community. MediaLine syncs directly to our Corporate Partnership Modules in CRM.
- When working with logs, MediaLine separates spots by advertiser and industry. It will keep advertisers out of back to back breaks and competitors out of the same break. Users are no longer required to manually adjust spots in order to make sure each client’s spots are spread out across the broadcast.
- MediaLine addresses a number of issues regarding spot rotation. MediaLine always ensures accurate spot rotation.
- MediaLine allows users to rotate spots across all parts of the broadcast. MediaLine treats each part of the broadcast (pre-game, play-by-play, post-game, etc) as a single entity. Advertisers always get an even rotation throughout the entire broadcast. This avoids manual adjustments to the log and keeps users from having to enter in each client spot for each part of the broadcast.
- MediaLine enables the user to track make good / missed spots and there is a true bonus report. MediaLine has built in reports for missed and bonused spots.
